Please be aware that we have received a notification of a TTRN (emergency) road closure at Lower New Road, Cheddar  which commenced  on 31st August 2026 - 4th September 2026 (00:00 - 23:59) for a total of 5 days.

This will enable Bristol Water to repair main leak. 

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.

Temporary Road Closure:  ttro880315N - Wells Road and Draycott Road, Rodney Stoke and Cheddar

These works will take place in 2 stages:

During phase 1 (1 – 27 September) road closures will be in place on Draycott Road between:

·         Hillier Garden Centre to outside Strawberry Fields Luxury Lodges 

·         The junction of School Lane and Latches Lane 

 

The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2026 and last for 28 days to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas works.

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.
